Allies Montreal is an initiative of Queer McGill and Project 10 in collaboration with Project Interaction. Allies works in partnership with sibling organization SILK. We are a youth-based program that provides free English workshops to the Montreal area addressing sexual orientation, gender, negative language, sexual health, and more. Allies strives to create safer spaces for all youth by encouraging students to act as “allies” to each other. The Allies workshops mainly target high school students and staff.

Allies workshops are flexible and adaptable. Most of our facilitators are University students with relevant personal experience to share with high school students. We have experience conducting workshops in a wide variety of circumstances. As an organization that promotes open-mindedness and inclusiveness, Allies is firmly against all forms of discrimination.
